  20世纪世界年谷物增长率：
       60年代：3%
       70年代：2.3%
       80-90年代：2%
       2010年预计：1.8%

2000年首次出现世界谷物生产量低于消费量。
2000，2001，2002年缺口分别为1600，2700和9600万吨
世界谷物降为30年来的最低水平。
2003年18.18亿吨，缺口9300万吨。
