改进是指为改善产品的特性和(或)提高用于生产和交付产品的过程的有效性和效率所开展的活动,……必要时,对结果进行评审,以确进一步的机会审核、顾客反馈和质量管理体系评审也可用于识别这些机会改进是一种持续的活动。
Improvement refers to the actions taken to enhance the features and characteristics of products and/or increase the effectiveness and efficiency of processes used to produce and deliver them… Results are reviewed, as necessary, to determine further opportunities for improvement.  Audits, customer feedback and review of the quality management system can also be used to identify opportunities.  Improvement is a continual activity.
