      In 2nd Quarter 2001, Ping An NB market share ranked first，occupied 62.12% (1st quarter occupied 58.01%). Comparing with that of  1st quarter 2001，Ping An NB increased considerably by 33.53%，from RMB408 million to RMB544.81 million.
AIA ranked second，occupied 11.21%（1st quarter occupied 15.91%. AIA NB in 2nd quarter was RMB 98.27 million，down 15.2%，from RMB 115.9 million to RMB98.27 million.
     China Life ranked third, occupied 10% of market share. Comparing with that of 1st quarter 2001，its NB was up about 25.62% ,from RMB 69.8 million to RMB87.68 million.Pacific occupied  6.84% of market share，RMB 60.013 million，ranked  fourth.
AXA-Minmetals ranked eighth, occupied 1.11% of NB on whole market, over RMB 9.768 million in 2nd Quarter 2001. Comparing with that of 1st quarter 2001, NB increased by 14.25%. Among all foreign companies AXA-Minmetals ranked fifth.

     Among all companies, Pacific’s agent productivity ranked first in 2nd quarter 2001, RMB11,800/month. Second is Ping An, average RMB11,300/month. Third is Allianz, RMB8,500/month. AXA-Minmetals ranked eleventh, RMb2,430/month. [Agent Productivity(monthly) =New Business /Agent]
    Ping An ranked first , total 16,106 agents in June, up 7.37% from  1st quarter to 2nd quarter. AIA ranked second，from 4,572 to 4,578. AXA-Minmetals had 1,340 agents at the end of   June，occupied 3.63% of agent share.
