      工业工程是对人员、物料、 设备、能源和信息所组成的集成系统， 进行设计、改善和设置的一门学科。它综合运用数学、物理学、社会科学的专门知识、技术以及工程分析与设计的原理、方法，对由人、物料、设备、能源、信息组成的集成系统，进行规划、设计、评价、改进（创新）的一门学科。
